Privacy Policy
How Roos Brothers 1865 collects, uses, and protects your information — stated plainly, the way we do everything else.

Who We Are
Roos Brothers 1865 ("Roos Brothers," "we," "us") is an American menswear house operating this website from the United States. For anything in this policy, write to concierge@roosbrothers1865.com — a person reads it.
What We Collect
- Newsletter: your email address, only when you subscribe. Nothing else rides along with it.
- Orders (at checkout launch): name, shipping address, email, and order contents. Payment is handled by our payment processor — your card details never touch our servers.
- Correspondence: what you send the concierge, kept so we can actually help you.
What Stays in Your Browser
Your shopping bag and wishlist are stored locally on your own device, not on our servers. Close the site and they wait for you; clear your browser storage and they're gone. We think that's how it should be.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
- We do not send analytics data anywhere unless you consent.
Who We Share With
Only what is necessary, only to make your order happen: shipping carriers (address and contact for delivery), our payment processor (transaction handling), and authorities where the law genuinely requires it. Each partner is bound to use your data solely for that purpose.
Retention
Order records are kept as long as commercial and tax law requires. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe — one click, honored immediately. Concierge correspondence is kept while it remains useful to serving you.
Your Rights
Wherever you live — and including under GDPR and CCPA where they apply — you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email concierge@roosbrothers1865.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and we will respond within 30 days. We will never treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.
